One of my fondest memories of my mom is baking Christmas cookies. We would spend a day or 2 in the kitchen making all kinds of cookies, chocolate chip, oatmeal, toffee bars, fudge bars, ginger snaps, and a few others. Of course when I was younger I don't know if I ate more dough or finished cookies but either way it was always good. This is probably one of the reason I love to bake.
This year we decided to bake some cookies for Christmas.
We made ginger snaps, oatmeal butterscotch, sugar cookies and some chocolate espresso cookies.

Ou sweet puppies wanted to leave Santa a treat and make sure he knows they were good...mostly.
We didn't make a bunch of each but enough to give to some friends. Now I think we may have to make some more.
